Overview

The APC SMTL750RM2UCNC is a 750 VA / 600 W line-interactive UPS with lithium-ion battery, optimized for short depth rack or tower use. It’s meant for edge racks, communication closets, or network closets where space is tight and you still need reliable battery backup and voltage regulation.It features AVR (automatic voltage regulation) to correct brownouts and overvoltage without draining the battery, plus a fast transfer time (typical ~6 ms) when switching to battery. The UPS includes multiple outlets, status via LCD, SmartConnect cloud reporting, and is convertible between rack (2U) and tower orientations.In deployment, this unit protects critical but modest loads—such as access switches, firewalls, edge compute nodes, or surveillance DVRs—in environments where full data center UPSes are overkill. It gives you confidence that short outages won’t bring down essential connectivity, and longer outages allow clean shutdown or continued operation for limited time.
