Overview:

The Nighthawk AX8 AX6600 Wireless Tri-Band Gigabit Router from Netgear . Housed inside its winged design are six internal antennas that are optimally placed to deliver strong wireless connections with compatible devices. Supporting 802.11ax Wi-Fi, the Nighthawk AX8 can transfer up to 6600 Mb/s over the 2.4 GHz and two 5 GHz bands, giving you the bandwidth for smooth 4K video streaming, online gaming, and video chat experiences. The router automatically optimizes performance by intelligently assigning the fastest Wi-Fi band to each device.

Four Gigabit Ethernet LAN ports are available for wired devices such as computers, video game consoles, and smart TVs. Link aggregation support allows you to combine one of the LAN ports with the Gigabit WAN port to take advantage of multi-Gig internet connections using compatible devices. Use the Netgear Nighthawk app to quickly configure and manage your network from almost anywhere, including setting up parental controls

Tri-Band Performance
Equipped with a 1.5 GHz quad-core processor, 512MB of memory, and six internal antennas, the Nighthawk AX8 is designed to deliver up to 600 Mb/s throughput on the 2.4 GHz band, 1200 Mb/s on a 5 GHz frequency, and 4800 Mb/s over a second 5 GHz signal. With 4x4 MU-MIMO support on the second 5 GHz band, this router can transfer data with up to four connected devices simultaneously.
