The Eaton SRCABLEVRT12 is a vertical cable management accessory designed for organizing large bundles of Cu/fiber cabling in open frame and rack cabinet environments. It is deployed by network and rack‑infrastructure engineers to improve cable routing discipline, reduce congestion, and minimize stress on connectors and terminations within structured cabling zones.

This cable manager features a 12 inch (30.48 cm) width high‑capacity double finger duct with cover, enabling a broader routing path for thicker bundles of cables compared with standard narrow managers. The duct is split into modular sections for flexible positioning relative to rack frames.

The unit supports installation along the vertical plane of 2‑post or 4‑post open frame racks and cabinets compliant with EIA‑310 standards. Its tool‑less button mount system anchors the manager to vertical rack members without additional hardware, simplifying deployment and service tasks.

The SRCABLEVRT12 integrates into structured rack ecosystems alongside PDUs, patch panels, and switches. The open finger duct and removable cover assist in segregating service loops and reducing interference between power and data runs, aiding maintenance and airflow management.

In a practical deployment, this manager is used to route backbone fiber and high‑density copper drops up the side of a 42U rack, keeping cables accessible and preventing entanglement during moves, adds, and changes.
