Overview

The HPE JX967A (also referenced as the Aruba AP-365) is an outdoor-rated access point designed for enterprise deployments where coverage must extend outdoors — for example patios, open-air corridors, or retail exteriors. It uses 802.11ac Wave 2 (“WiFi 5”) dual-radio capability with a 2×2:2 spatial stream design. It provides about 866 Mbps on the 5 GHz band and 400 Mbps on the 2.4 GHz band for an aggregate of ~1.27 Gbps throughput.  The AP is listed as part of the Aruba 360 series outdoor access points. This model suits deployment scenarios such as outdoor seating areas, building exterior overhangs or campus walkways where you need weather-rated gear but your device density and throughput demands are moderate.
