Overview

The HPE JZ163A (Aruba AP-374) is a rugged, outdoor-rated wireless access point designed for challenging external environments such as campuses, open-air venues or industrial yards. It supports dual-band operation (2.4 GHz and 5 GHz) using 802.11ac Wave 2 technology and offers aggregated throughput of up to approximately 1.73 Gbps. With a weatherproof housing (IP66/IP67 rated) and pole or wall-mount capability, this unit is suited for deployments where indoor APs won’t suffice. Typical use-case: delivering high-capacity WiFi outdoors for education campus walkways, stadium concourses or large retail patios.
