Overview

The Eaton P130‑000‑COMP is a video signal converter that translates HDMI digital audio/video output into RCA composite video (NTSC/PAL) and stereo audio formats for use with legacy analog displays and AV equipment. It is used by AV installers, system integrators, and facilities technicians who need to integrate modern HDMI sources into older display systems without native HDMI support.

This external converter accepts female HDMI input and provides three female RCA outputs — one composite video (yellow) and two stereo audio (red/white) — enabling connection to CRTs, legacy TVs, projectors, or monitors that lack HDMI. The unit supports HDMI input resolutions up to 1080p (1920 × 1080) and outputs NTSC or PAL composite video (maximum 480i/576i). HDCP copy protection compliance allows source‑protected content to be passed through where supported.

Mechanically, P130‑000‑COMP is an external plug‑in converter with wall or surface‑mount capability via included hardware and an external universal power supply (100–240 VAC input with global plug adapters). It installs inline between an HDMI source and composite video equipment without the need for software, firmware, or driver configuration.

This converter integrates into AV environments where legacy composite displays remain in operation — for example in training rooms, digital signage retrofits, museum exhibits, and remote KVM sites where analog monitors are still present.
