The Eaton 5PX3000RT3UNG2 is a 3 kVA / 3 kW line‑interactive uninterruptible power supply (UPS) designed to provide UPS protection and controlled AC power for rack‑mounted and tower IT infrastructure. It is specified for network closets, branch data rooms, and edge computing environments where utility power anomalies (brownouts, surges, short interruptions) must be mitigated to protect servers, storage, and networking gear. This unit delivers clean, conditioned power with minimal transfer time, ensuring operational continuity.

Internally, it uses sealed lead‑acid batteries with ABM three‑stage charging to extend service life and reduce total maintenance events. The UPS supports up to four external battery modules (EBMs) for extended runtime beyond its internal battery capacity when prolonged autonomy is required.

The 5PX3000RT3UNG2 installs in a standard 19‑inch equipment rack or on the floor in tower mode using the included rail kit and pedestal feet. It occupies 3 rack units (3U) and offers a mix of receptacles — one NEMA L5‑30R plus six NEMA 5‑20R — to distribute power to connected loads flexibly.
