The StarTech FPCEILPTBLP is a commercial-grade ceiling mount specifically engineered for portrait-orientation digital signage. It is utilized by AV integrators and facility managers to suspend displays in high-ceiling environments such as airport terminals, hotel lobbies, transit hubs, and retail storefronts where floor and wall space is unavailable.

Technically, the mount features an extra-long telescopic pole that provides an impressive extension range from 8.2 feet (2.5m) to 15 feet (4.5m) from the ceiling. This allows for precise positioning of the display in large open-concept areas. The mount is designed to support 40" to 55" displays weighing up to 110 lb (50 kg). To ensure the display is perfectly vertical, the mount includes a +/- 3° leveling adjustment and a swivel range of 360° around the pole, allowing the screen to be oriented toward any direction in the room.

Deployment is optimized for public safety and aesthetics; the telescopic pole acts as a conduit for internal cable management, concealing power and data lines from the ceiling to the display. The ceiling mounting plate is designed to accommodate both flat ceilings and sloped surfaces (up to 60° angle), making it highly adaptable to various architectural designs. This mount is strictly intended for portrait orientation; for landscape-specific applications, a different bracket head is required.
