The APC SC450RMI1U is a line-interactive uninterruptible power supply designed to provide short-duration backup power and voltage conditioning for rack-mounted IT equipment operating on 230V infrastructure. It is typically deployed by IT administrators protecting entry-level servers, switches, routers, and network appliances in compact rack environments.

The unit delivers 450VA / 280W output capacity at 230V AC nominal. Its line-interactive topology incorporates Automatic Voltage Regulation (AVR), correcting undervoltage and overvoltage conditions without transferring to battery where possible. This preserves battery life while maintaining stable output to connected loads.

The chassis occupies 1U of standard 19-inch rack space and can also be deployed in tower orientation. It integrates into shallow-depth cabinets, branch racks, and wall-mounted enclosures where physical footprint and thermal load must remain minimal.
