Overview

The APC APDU10151SW is a switched rack PDU built for IT racks and data centers that need remote outlet control plus power visibility. It solves the common issue of needing to reboot or cycle power to failed devices without sending a tech onsite.This unit delivers 5.0 kW (≈ 4992 VA) from a 208 V, single-phase, 30 A supply (NEMA L6-30P) and distributes power across 40 outlets (a mix of 4-in-1 and standard receptacles). You can remotely switch outlets on/off, monitor load at the PDU level, and integrate it into your rack management system via web, SNMP, or cascading modes.In deployment, it’s ideal in mid-sized racks with mixed equipment (servers, switches, storage) where occasional remote power cycling is necessary. Its hot-swappable network management card ensures you don’t lose control during maintenance, and pass-through “power sharing” features help maintain network connectivity even if one PDU loses power.
