APC AR7711X960 is a rear‑facing PDU mounting bracket designed for use in APC NetShelter SX enclosures. It is deployed by network and data center engineers to mount rack power distribution units (PDUs) behind the rack’s primary equipment plane. This addresses the need to conserve vertical rack space while maintaining accessibility and cable organization in medium‑to‑large cabinets.

The bracket kit supports rear installation of PDUs in racks with 750 mm interior width at heights of 42U or 48U. The zero‑U design ensures that critical front‑accessible rack units remain available for servers, switches, or compute gear. Bracket dimensions are approximately 3.31 in height, 4.45 in width, and 2.09 in depth with a lightweight form factor (~0.23 kg).

This accessory integrates into the rear channel and vertical flanges of NetShelter SX cabinets. It is positioned in the data center or IDF/MDF rack environment, enabling managed placement of PDUs where cable routing and airflow are critical. Rear orientation facilitates cleaner power cord pathways and reduces clutter behind active equipment.

Compatibility is specific to 750 mm wide NetShelter SX enclosures at standard 42U or 48U heights. The bracket does not house electrical components — its purpose is mechanical mounting support for PDUs in the rear of the rack, aligning with standard EIA‑310 frame spacing.
