The Eaton SRW9U is a 9U, low‑profile wall‑mount rack enclosure cabinet designed to house EIA‑310‑standard 19″ rack‑mount equipment in locations with limited floor space. IT infrastructure engineers, network architects, and facility managers deploy it in IDF closets, retail backrooms, classrooms, and branch offices to securely store network switches, routers, patch panels, and similar gear while preserving workspace footprint.

Constructed from heavy‑duty powder‑coated steel, the enclosure supports a 200 lb (90.7 kg) static load and accommodates equipment with a maximum depth of approximately 16.5 in (419 mm) on adjustable vertical rails. Front, side, and top/bottom ventilation improves airflow through mounted gear.

Physically it is a wall‑mounted low‑profile cabinet that ships fully assembled, and it can also be mounted on optional rolling casters (e.g., the SRCASTER kit) to allow mobile rack use under desks or counters. Cable management ports at the top and bottom simplify entry/exit routing.
