Overview

The Eaton SRW12USDPG is a 12U wall‑mount rack enclosure engineered to secure and accommodate standard 19‑inch rack equipment in locations with limited floor space. It is deployed by IT and network engineers in wiring closets, branch offices, retail install points, and telecom spaces where compact, organised equipment mounting is required. The cabinet combines physical security with accessible serviceability via a hinged design.

Constructed from heavy‑duty steel with a durable black powder‑coated finish, the enclosure supports up to 200 lb (≈ 90.7 kg) of equipment load. The front door features a shatter‑resistant clear acrylic window, allowing visual inspection of installed gear without unlocking the enclosure. Vented panels on the top, bottom, and side promote passive airflow around installed devices.

The design includes adjustable vertical mounting rails with numbered rack U markings, accommodating equipment up to roughly 24.5 in (≈ 622 mm) deep — suitable for switch, UPS, and battery pack combinations found in small‑to‑mid‑size rack installations. The swing‑away hinge eases access to rear cabling during installation and maintenance.
