Overview

The Eaton SR42UBDPWD is a 42-U, deep-and-wide server rack enclosure designed for enterprise IT and data-centre environments where high-density equipment, extensive cabling and robust build matter. With an internal usable depth of up to 42 in (1070 mm) and a full chassis depth of approximately 47.3 in (1200 mm) it accommodates deep servers, blade chassis, large UPS systems or extensive rear cooling and power infrastructure.
It ships fully assembled and includes pre-installed heavy-duty casters and leveling feet, allowing roll-in through standard commercial doorways and rapid deployment in the rack room. The frame supports a stationary load of 3 500 lb (1 588 kg) and a rolling load of 2 250 lb (1 020 kg), meaning it supports large, fully loaded cabinets in production. The 750 mm (~29.5″) width provides extra lateral space for vertical PDUs and cable managers, keeping cable runs and power distribution off theairflowpaths for better cooling. Rear split doors, locking side panels keyed alike, and full ventilation (65 %+ open perforation) allow both secure and thermally efficient installations. This enclosure is ideal for mid-to large-scale server rooms or campus data halls where you’re deploying deep equipment (e.g., 1,200 mm servers) or you need to mount overhead PDUs and manage dense cabling while maintaining ASHRAE-compliant airflow. It fits into existing accessory ecosystems from the SmartRack line and supports standard rack-mount hardware.
