The StarTech RK1232WALHM is a 12U heavy-duty wall-mount server rack designed for high-density networking and server deployments in space-constrained environments. Engineered for accessibility, the cabinet features a robust rear-hinged design that allows the entire enclosure to swing away from the wall. This provides immediate, tool-less rear access to cabling and ports, significantly reducing maintenance time for IT administrators.

The unit supports a weight capacity of up to 200lb (90kg) and features a mounting depth of 22 inches, accommodating shallow-depth servers, network switches, and UPS systems. For thermal management, the cabinet includes a pre-installed 120mm AC fan at the top to facilitate active vertical airflow, preventing equipment hotspots. The side panels and the reversible front glass door are ventilated to further enhance passive cooling.

Security is managed via independent locks on the front door and both side panels, ensuring unauthorized access is restricted while allowing flexible entry for technical updates. The rack is constructed from cold-rolled steel and arrives fully assembled with 12-24 tapped mounting holes and square cage nut holes for versatile hardware installation.
