The APC SYMIM5 is the intelligence (control) module for the Symmetra LX UPS family, providing decision logic, monitoring, and system interface functionality. It plugs into the UPS frame and enables features like load distribution, diagnostics, and remote communications. Installation is hot-swappable, allowing module replacement without taking the UPS offline. This unit is essential for customizing behavior and integration of Symmetra LX deployments in critical power systems.
