The POEINJ1G90W is a high-power Gigabit Power-over-Ethernet (PoE) injector designed to meet the extreme power demands of modern high-performance network devices. It solves the problem of deploying power-hungry hardware—such as 4K PTZ security cameras with heaters, high-performance 802.11ax/be wireless access points, and building automation controllers—without needing to upgrade existing non-PoE network switches. This injector delivers up to 90W of power, adhering to the latest IEEE 802.3bt (Type 4) standard.

Technically, the device functions as a midspan injector that combines high-speed Gigabit data from a non-PoE switch with up to 90W of DC power onto a single standard Cat5e or Cat6 Ethernet cable. It is fully backwards compatible with legacy PoE (15.4W) and PoE+ (30W) standards, automatically sensing the power requirements of the connected device to prevent electrical damage. The unit features a compact, standalone design with an integrated power supply, simplifying cable management by eliminating external power bricks.

Optimized for professional reliability, the POEINJ1G90W features a rugged metal housing that provides superior heat dissipation compared to plastic alternatives, ensuring stable performance under continuous full-load operation. It includes integrated mounting holes for secure wall or desk installation. This injector is a point-to-point solution and is not designed to be used in conjunction with PoE splitters unless the remote device lacks native PoE support.
