The Eaton PDUMH20NET2LX is a horizontally‑mounted, single‑phase switched power distribution unit (PDU) engineered for racks requiring remote power control and monitoring over IP. It is deployed by data center engineers, network architects, and facilities teams in technical spaces where in‑band or out‑of‑band management of rack power is essential for uptime, reboot sequencing, and remote troubleshooting. This model extends basic rack PDU distribution with per‑outlet switching and network connectivity.

Rated for 120 V AC at 16 A continuous input, the PDUMH20NET2LX provides eight individually switchable NEMA 5‑15/20R outlets and integrates a Java‑free LX Platform network interface supporting SNMP, SSH, Telnet, and web browser access for management. Local metering and outlet status indicators provide immediate on‑rack feedback alongside network‑based control.

This PDU is suited for deployment in 1U of rack space in EIA‑310 standard 19″ racks and can also be mounted vertically (0U) or under counters with included brackets. Its form factor and networking capability make it appropriate in data centers, colocation cages, and remote sites where direct physical access may be limited and power cycling of specific devices (e.g., servers, network switches) is required.
