Overview

The Eaton EMAT10‑10 is a managed rack‑mount Power Distribution Unit (PDU) designed to distribute AC power and provide remote monitoring and control in rack‑based IT environments. It is typically deployed by data center operators, network engineers, and systems administrators where centralized control and visibility of power distribution improve uptime, load balancing, and energy management.

This PDU supports single‑phase 200–240 V input with a 16 A rating and delivers up to 3.84 kW of power to connected equipment. It features a C20 inlet feeding eight IEC C13 receptacles, allowing connection of servers, switches, and other rack devices using standard IEC power leads.

This capability assists in remote power cycling and troubleshooting without physical access to the rack.

In practice, the EMAT10‑10 is deployed downstream of UPS and facility power feeds to distribute conditioned, monitored power to mid‑tier rack equipment.
