Overview

The Eaton EMA333-10 is a three-phase managed rack PDU designed to deliver controlled power distribution with outlet-level monitoring and switching in high-density IT racks. It is deployed by data center engineers and infrastructure teams to distribute power across servers, storage systems, and network devices while maintaining remote visibility and control over individual loads.

This unit supports 120/208 V three-phase input via a NEMA L21-30P connection, delivering up to 8.64 kW at 24 A. It enables both outlet-level metering and switching, allowing operators to monitor current, voltage, power, and energy consumption and remotely reboot connected devices without physical access.

The PDU installs in a 0U vertical form factor, mounting alongside rack rails to preserve usable rack units for compute equipment. Its 28-outlet configuration includes a mix of IEC and NEMA receptacles to support heterogeneous IT loads within a single rack, reducing the need for multiple distribution devices.

Integrated network management provides remote access over Ethernet, supporting centralized monitoring and control across distributed rack environments. The system enables alerting, load balancing, and capacity planning, particularly in environments with high rack density or remote site operations.

A typical deployment includes 42U server racks in data centers or colocation facilities, where outlet-level control is required to manage remote equipment or reduce downtime through controlled reboot operations. This PDU should not be used where only basic power distribution is required, as its managed feature set adds complexity unnecessary for non-monitored environments.
