Overview

The HPE 629136‑001 is a dual‑port 10 Gigabit Ethernet network adapter designed for installation in servers via the 526FLR mezzanine slot, delivering two SFP+ ports capable of 10 Gb/s each. It supports converged network functionality—combining Ethernet, iSCSI and Fibre Channel over Ethernet (FCoE) traffic—enabling infrastructure consolidation in modern data centre compute nodes. With support for jumbo‑frame packets, SR‑IOV, large‑send offload (LSO), receive‑side‑scaling (RSS) and PXE boot compatibility, it addresses both virtualised environments and storage‑connected servers. The adapter is good for high‑bandwidth uplinks in enterprise rack servers, helping preserve standard PCIe slots while providing two 10G optical or DAC links.
