APC NBPD0150 – NetBotz Rack Sensor Pod 150

Overview

APC NBPD0150 is a rack‑mount sensor pod that expands environmental monitoring reach for compatible NetBotz appliances. It is used by data center and facilities teams to extend universal sensor connectivity for temperature, humidity, door, leak, vibration, and similar environmental inputs captured throughout rack environments.

The pod supports up to six universal sensor channels, enabling distributed sensing beyond the main appliance chassis. It connects via a proprietary A‑Link RJ‑45 interface and can be cascaded up to 1000 m from the host NetBotz unit, making it effective for large racks or adjacent rack arrays.

Mechanically, the unit occupies 1 U of rack space and offers horizontal, vertical, or toolless mounting options to fit a variety of cabinet layouts. A bundled temperature/humidity sensor and installation accessories are included for basic deployment and setup.

Environmental tolerances align with typical server room conditions, supporting operation from 0 °C to 45 °C and up to 95 % relative humidity (non‑condensing). A standard 2‑year repair/replace warranty applies.

NBPD0150 is not a standalone monitoring system; it requires connection to a compatible NetBotz appliance (e.g., 250A, 450, 750 series) to provide power and interpret sensor data.
