Overview :

Streamline your digital recording setup with the Blue Microphones Snowball, a USB microphone designed for podcasters, streamers, and online content creators. This USB mic is easy to use and sounds good out of the box, so you'll be up and running in no time at all. The microphone is presented here in a gloss black finish.

The mic offers two polar patterns for different kinds of content. The cardioid polar pattern naturally minimizes room noise by focusing its audio capture on whatever is in front of the mic, keeping audio pickup of the back and sides of the capsule to a minimum. This is great for content creators who don't have fancy room treatment. Use the omnidirectional pattern, however, if you and a friend will be using the mic simultaneously. The Snowball comes with its own stand and USB cable, providing a driverless operation to ensure connectivity with your device right out of the gate—you won't need to download any additional software to have your computer recognize this microphone.

In omni, the mic will pick up sound from all sides, making it the better choice to pick up more than one person at a time.
