Overview :

The Eaton Tripp Lite N784-001-SC-15 is a 10/100 Mb/s media converter for engineers handling Ethernet-to-fiber transitions, converting RJ-45 UTP to SC single-mode fiber to extend network links up to 15 km. It features automatic MDI/MDI-X on the UTP port, auto-detecting full or half duplex, and supports 1310 nm wavelength single-mode fiber. It fits in branch, campus or data-centre edge deployments where copper reach is insufficient and fibre is required for long link distances. It operates standalone and can integrate into standard Ethernet segments with fibre uplinks to switches or fibre-based network aggregation.
