The Eaton N784-H01-STMM is a hardened copper-to-fiber media converter that converts 10/100 Mbps Ethernet over RJ45 copper to ST multimode fiber. It extends network connections up to 2 km (1.2 miles) over multimode fiber, making it suitable for industrial networks, data centers, and remote network segments.
The converter features a hardened aluminum housing, automatic MDI/MDI-X, Link Fault Signaling and diagnostic loopback functions. It supports DIN-rail and wall mounting and operates from -10°C to 60°C for deployment in demanding environments.
