The HP J9573A, part of the 3800 Series, is a robust Layer 3 managed switch offering 24 autosensing 10/100/1000Base‑T PoE+ ports and two 10 Gb SFP+ uplink interfaces. Designed for mid-sized enterprise or campus access layers, it provides up to 720 W of PoE+ power to power wireless access points, IP phones, and security cameras. Its fixed form-factor stacks using proprietary stacking modules, enabling redundancy and simplified scaling. Built on Aruba’s ProVision ASIC platform, this 24-port PoE+ switch delivers enterprise-class performance with a switching capacity of 88 Gb/s and forwarding rate of up to 65.4 million packets/sec (64-byte frames) . Each copper port auto-negotiates speeds up to 1 Gb/s and supports PoE+ to IEEE 802.3at standards, collectively delivering 720 W of power for connected devices This model includes two dedicated 10 Gb SFP+ uplinks, enabling high-bandwidth stacking or connection to higher-layer distribution switches. A dedicated serial console and out-of-band management port are included for provisioning and diagnostics, plus a stacking slot for optional module installation Layer 3 capabilities include static and dynamic routing protocols for fine-grained network control, ideal for deployment at the access/distribution layer.
