Overview

The Eaton SMART3000RMXLN is a 3000 VA (3 kVA) / 3000 W (3 kW) line-interactive UPS designed for single-phase 120 V applications where you need reliable power backup, voltage correction and remote monitoring.t features a pure sine-wave output with unity power factor (1.0) so you can use the full wattage for your down-stream equipment — servers, switches, storage and other IT gear. The form factor is a 2U rack/tower convertible chassis (17.2" W × ~23.7" depth × 3.4" height) so you can mount it in a 19-inch cabinet, or use it as a freestanding unit with the provided supports. Installation flexibility makes it suitable for server rooms, edge closets or branch-office racks.Included is a pre-installed network management card (WEBCARDLXE) for full remote monitoring and control over Ethernet, plus support for USB, RS-232, EPO and optional external battery modules. In practice this UPS fits scenarios where you’ve got one rack of moderately-sized equipment and you want solid protection against brownouts, over-voltage, complete outages and you want to extend runtime using external battery packs if desired. It gives you enterprise-grade features without moving into large three-phase territory.
