Overview

The Eaton 5PX2200HRTG2 is a 208 V line‑interactive UPS engineered to provide regulated AC power and battery backup in rack/tower IT environments. It is typically deployed by infrastructure and data center engineers to support servers, networking gear, storage systems, and other critical rack equipment in small to mid‑sized data centers and telecom closets where 208 V distribution is present. The UPS ensures continuity during brownouts, surges, and short utility outages.

This model delivers 2200 VA / 2200 W output at unity power factor, enabling the full rated wattage to be available to connected loads. It includes Automatic Voltage Regulation (AVR) and pure sine‑wave output for compatibility with active‑PFC and sensitive electronics under variable line conditions.

The UPS fits 2U of 19″ rack space and can be operated in either rack or tower configuration, optimizing space in standard IT racks or wall cabinets. It includes a graphical LCD display for local status, and USB/serial ports are standard for local control and monitoring. An optional Gigabit Network‑M3 card enables secure remote management and SNMP integration into enterprise monitoring platforms.

Internal sealed lead‑acid batteries are hot‑swappable, and Advanced Battery Management (ABM) technology extends service life while providing early replacement warnings. The design allows connection of up to four external battery modules (EBMs) when extended runtime is needed during prolonged outages.
