Overview

The Eaton 5PX2000RT3UNG2 is a 1.95 kVA / 1950 W line‑interactive UPS designed to provide both battery backup and regulated AC power for rack‑mounted IT equipment. It is specified for infrastructure engineers and data center operations teams to protect servers, storage, network switches, and communications equipment against brownouts, surges, and utility power failures.

This UPS delivers pure sine‑wave output at 120 V nominal and includes Automatic Voltage Regulation (AVR) to maintain stable output during moderate input fluctuations. With a unity (1.0) power factor, it supports the full rated wattage up to 1950 W.

The chassis is a 3U rack/tower convertible form factor with shallow depth (~19 in), allowing deployment in standard 19″ EIA racks, wall cabinets, or tower configurations. A pre‑installed Gigabit Network‑M2 management card enables remote monitoring and control, and the front graphical LCD provides real‑time status and alerts.

Battery management uses Eaton’s Advanced Battery Management (ABM) technology to extend battery service life and provide timely replacement warnings. Internal batteries are hot‑swappable and support up to four external battery modules (EBMs) to scale runtime for longer outages.
