Overview

The Eaton SMART5000XFMRXL is a high-density, rack/tower convertible line-interactive UPS designed for demanding IT, network and telecommunications environments. With a 5000 VA / 3750 W rating at both 208 V and 120 V outputs, this unit is engineered to protect critical loads from brownouts, over-voltages, blackouts and severe voltage fluctuations. It supports simultaneous 208 V and 120 V output, and its AVR (Automatic Voltage Regulation) corrects inputs within the 167-260 V range without consuming battery power. Its compact 3U chassis installs in standard 19-inch racks or in tower orientation, saving space while delivering full-featured protection. The SMART5000XFMRXL includes USB and serial interfaces, EPO (Emergency Power Off) as standard, and a selectable slot for network management card options—making it suitable for remote monitoring and integration into larger DCIM/monitoring systems. Hot-swappable internal batteries and the option for external battery modules extend runtime according to deployment needs.
