It is deployed by systems administrators and network engineers in server rooms, data closets, and distributed IT environments where consolidated console access and remote management reduce on‑site intervention and improve operational efficiency.

This model supports up to 16 host systems via inexpensive Cat5e/6/6a cabling and occupies a standard 1U rack footprint. The integrated IP interface enables secure browser‑based or client application remote access, allowing administrators to control connected servers over LAN or WAN.
