Overview :

The StarTech SV565HDIP is an enterprise-grade KVM over IP extender kit designed to facilitate remote server management and video distribution over a standard Local Area Network (LAN). Unlike traditional point-to-point extenders, this IP-routable system allows a single operator to control a computer or KVM switch from any location within the network infrastructure. It supports Ultra HD 4K resolutions at 30Hz, providing the high-fidelity visual output required for detailed monitoring and control applications.

The hardware utilizes the ASPEED AST1520 chipset to manage low-latency video and USB data transmission. In a direct-connect configuration using Cat5e or Cat6 cabling, the system supports distances up to 328ft (100m). When integrated into an IP-enabled network with IGMP-supporting switches, the range is limited only by the network topology. The receiver unit features a 4-port USB hub (2x USB 2.0, 2x USB 1.1 HID) to accommodate keyboards, mice, and high-speed peripherals like flash drives.

Engineered for scalability, the SV565HDIP supports point-to-multipoint distribution and large-scale video wall configurations (up to 9x9) using additional receivers (sold separately). The system includes built-in EDID pass-through to ensure display compatibility and supports digital 7.1 surround audio. It is a TAA-compliant solution, making it suitable for government and federal deployments that require secure, high-resolution remote access.
