The Eaton B040‑016‑19 is an integrated rack‑mount KVM (Keyboard, Video, Mouse) console switch designed to consolidate server control in rack environments. It combines a 19‑inch LCD display, keyboard, touchpad and a 16‑port KVM switch in a single 1U unit for direct access to multiple servers. This product is typically deployed by systems administrators, colocation technicians, and network operations teams managing medium to large server racks where local physical control is needed.

It supports up to 16 directly connected servers via PS/2 or USB keyboard/mouse and VGA video interfaces. The built‑in LCD panel supports 1366 × 768 resolution, and port selection is accomplished via pushbuttons, on‑screen display (OSD), or keyboard hotkeys. Daisy‑chaining to additional KVM switches from the same series allows expansion up to 256 connected devices.
