The SN6600B supports modular port scaling—from 24 active SFP+ ports to a full 48-port configuration—paired with 4 QSFP+Fibre Channel Switch  for high-speed ISLs or uplinks. It delivers up to 2 Tbps aggregate bandwidth with a remarkable 700 ns port-to-port latency, achieved through cut-through switching. Management and security are robust—firmware supports RADIUS, TACACS+, LDAP, FCAP authentication, SSL encryption, Fabric Shortest Path First (FSPF), zoning, dynamic fabric provisioning, and advanced SAN diagnostics (like FPI monitoring, SDDQ, and RCS). The switch is manageable via SNMP v1/v3, HTTP/HTTPS, CLI, and SMI-S.
