Overview

The APC SRT48RMBP is a 48-volt external battery module built to extend runtime for Smart-UPS SRT rackmount units (1 kVA / 1.5 kVA models). It uses hot-swappable lead-acid battery cells so you can service or replace batteries without shutting down critical loads. The unit mounts in a 1U rack slot and is designed to match the electrical and mechanical interfaces of SRT UPS systems. Operating in a temperature range of 0 °C to 40 °C, it’s suitable for standard server room environments. Use it when your UPS needs to back more equipment or bridge longer outage periods. It’s ideal for small data closets, edge racks, or branch sites.
