APC SRT72BP – 72 V External Battery Pack for SRT UPS

Overview   

The APC SRT72BP is an external battery pack designed to extend the runtime of SRT On-Line 2.2 kVA UPS systems. It provides additional battery capacity by supplying 72 V DC matching the UPS battery bus. You can stack up to 10 battery packs in series for greater backup duration. In real deployments, SRT72BP is used in mission-critical racks where extra runtime is needed during power outages or generator transitions. Because it’s a plug-in module, integration is straightforward—no major rewiring needed if aligned with the UPS model.

This pack is compatible with SRT 2200X/2200RMX and related 2.2 kVA models when configured for external battery use. It’s hot-swappable and designed for consistent battery performance across modules. With proper UPS-battery matching, you’ll get predictable, scalable runtime without compromising system stability.
