The StarTech 4K7012IC‑EXTEND‑HDMI is a point‑to‑multipoint HDMI over Cat6 extender and splitter kit that enables a single HDMI source to be extended and duplicated to two remote displays using structured Cat5e/Cat6 cabling up to 230 ft (70 m). It supports 4K @ 60 Hz video with multi‑channel digital audio and incorporates Power over Cable (PoC) to power the receivers from the transmitter, reducing separate power cabling.

This kit includes one transmitter and two receivers, making it suitable for boardrooms, digital signage, classrooms, retail displays, and hospitality AV systems where centralized media distribution is required without long HDMI cable runs. It also supports bi‑directional IR extension so that remote users can control the source device from any display location. Do NOT use for IP network switching or matrix routing — this is a dedicated point‑to‑two HDMI extension solution, not an Ethernet switch.
