Overview :

The RUCKUS ICX 7850-48F-E2 is a high-density stackable Ethernet switch designed for enterprise aggregation and core layer deployments where large volumes of traffic and high port counts drive the design. It offers 48 downlink ports capable of 1/10/25 GbE using SFP28 modules, plus 8 uplink/stacking QSFP28 ports supporting 40 GbE or 100 GbE. This makes it suitable for campus or data centre environments where access layer devices aggregate into a high-capacity core or collapsed aggregation layer. The 1-RU form-factor supports stacking of up to 12 switches, permitting a distributed chassis architecture across wiring closets or campus floors. Front-to-back or back-to-front airflow, redundant hot-swappable power supplies and fans enable it to integrate into high-availability infrastructure alongside wired and wireless networks.
