The StarTech WIR5ECMRWH is a 1000-foot bulk roll of Category 5e (Cat5e) network cabling designed for infrastructure projects requiring permanent in-wall or vertical installations. This solid-core UTP (Unshielded Twisted Pair) cable is engineered for network engineers and contractors who need to run backbone or horizontal cabling between floors, inside elevator shafts, or through riser ducts. The white PVC jacket allows for easy color-coding in complex wiring environments.

This bulk cable is rated for 10/100/1000 Mbps speeds and supports a frequency range of up to 350 MHz, providing significant headroom beyond the standard Cat5e requirement. It is constructed from 24 AWG pure bare copper conductors, which ensures superior conductivity and Power over Ethernet (PoE) support compared to inferior copper-clad aluminum (CCA) alternatives. The solid conductor design makes it ideal for punch-down terminations on patch panels and wall jacks.

Safety is prioritized with a CMR (Riser) fire rating, meeting UL standards for flame retardancy in vertical runs between floors.
