Overview

The Eaton SU2200RTXLCD2U is a rack/tower convertible uninterruptible power supply (UPS) rated at 2.2 kVA (1800 W) designed for demanding IT environments where uptime, clean output power and serviceability matter. With true on-line double-conversion topology, it continuously converts incoming AC to DC and then reconverts to AC to deliver perfectly regulated sine-wave output, isolating connected equipment from voltage fluctuations, brownouts and power interruptions.Its 2U height makes it suitable for standard 19-inch server racks while also supporting tower configuration if needed. The built-in LCD front panel displays multiple key metrics (load %, kW/kVA, battery status, runtime, configuration) giving visibility into operating status. The unit includes USB and RS-232 ports and supports optional network management cards for remote monitoring and control.The model supports field-replaceable internal batteries and can be expanded with external battery modules to extend runtime when needed. Load-bank switching (two independent switched bank zones) lets you reboot or shed non-critical loads without affecting the main load zone. This UPS is well suited for edge data closets, small to medium server racks or network closets where protection and manageability matter, yet rack-space and depth are limited.
