Overview :

The Eaton Tripp Lite N281-03M-BK is a copper passive breakout cable designed for engineers to connect a 40 Gb/s QSFP+ port to four 10 Gb/s SFP+ ports in servers, switches or network adapters. This provides a direct 40 Gb/s uplink path splitting into four independent 10 Gb/s channels, optimising port utilisation and reducing hardware count. With a 3-metre (≈9.84-ft) length and rugged zinc die-cast QSFP+ and SFP+ connectors, it is suited to data-centre, server-rack or wiring-closet deployments where short-reach breakout is required. It integrates seamlessly into top-of-rack or aggregation layers and is compatible with SDR, DDR and QDR platforms under SFF-8431 and SFF-8436 agreements.
