Eaton SRCABLELADDER – 10 ft × 12″ Cable Ladder

Overview :

The Eaton SRCABLELADDER is a 10 ft × 12″ cable ladder accessory engineered for structured overhead cable routing in rack rows, telecom closets, and data‑center aisles. It is used by installers, network architects, and facility engineers to organize long cable runs outside enclosures while eliminating cable stress and preventing congestion. The design accommodates mixed copper and fiber bundles routed between racks or across open spaces.

Each ladder consists of two 5‑ft (1.52 m) sections that assemble without tools, easing shipping, staging, and installation. The open ladder form provides continuous support across the length and facilitates airflow around cable bundles, reducing heat accumulation and physical strain on terminations.

This ladder fits SmartRack enclosures and compatible 4‑post open‑frame racks. It installs parallel or perpendicular to cabinet tops to route cables overhead or between adjacent racks. A grounding stud is provided for bonding to rack and facility ground systems.

Integration requires a SRCABLETRAY for enclosure installations or the SRLADDERATTACH kit for open‑frame racks. Without these, the ladder cannot properly interface to rack structures.

In deployment, use SRCABLELADDER to bridge horizontal spans where vertical managers end above equipment. It is not a substitute for dedicated under‑floor or severe‑environment ladder systems; for heavy industrial or outdoor spans exceeding 10 ft, consider purpose‑built cable tray/ladder systems compliant with NEMA/IEC standards.
