Overview

The Eaton SR1UPANEL50 is a 1U blanking panel kit consisting of 50 individual filler panels used to close unused vertical rack spaces in 19‑inch equipment enclosures. IT infrastructure engineers, data centre facilities technicians, and rack installers use these panels to optimise airflow within server and network cabinets, reducing hot air recirculation and helping maintain consistent cooling patterns.

Each panel is 1‑rack‑unit high and designed for tool‑less mounting into square‑hole EIA‑compliant racks and enclosures. By occupying unused rack slots, these panels prevent air bypass around installed equipment, improving the efficiency of conditioned airflow delivered by CRAC/CRAH systems, fans, and perforated tiles.

The kit’s 50 pieces allow field teams to blank off gaps from 1U up to 50U of vertical space — fitting equipment cabinets of varying heights without the need for individual panel purchases. The tool‑less engagement simplifies installation during rack build‑outs and retrofits.
