Traditional 40G SR4 solutions require expensive MPO cabling with multiple fibers. The E40G-QSFP-SR-BIDI transceiver reduces complexity by transmitting and receiving signals using two different wavelengths (850nm/900nm) over a single duplex LC fiber pair. This not only simplifies cabling but also maximizes compatibility with widely deployed duplex multimode fiber infrastructure.

Supporting distances of up to 150m on OM4 and 100m on OM3 multimode fiber, it is ideal for short-reach aggregation links in high-density environments. Enterprises can seamlessly migrate from existing 10GbE to 40GbE networks while reusing existing structured fiber, reducing both CapEx and OpEx.
