The HPE BD-ACD-10AX1152H is a high-performance FPGA Accelerator Expansion Module designed to enable hardware-level acceleration  in compute-intensive applications. Based on the Intel Arria 10 GX FPGA, this plug-in card connects via PCI Express 3.0 and delivers up to 1.5 teraflops of processing power. Equipped with 8 GB of DDR4 memory and a QSFP+ interface supporting up to 40 GbE, it is well-suited for tasks such as high-performance computing (HPC), data analytics, machine learning, and financial modeling. This module features a single-slot, half-height, half-length form factor and installs seamlessly into PCIe 3.0 x8 electrical (x16 mechanical) slots for enhanced stability. The onboard Intel Arria 10 GX FPGA offers approximately 1,150K logic elements, supported by 53 MB of on-chip memory and 8 GB of DDR4 ECC memory—providing substantial headroom for compute-intensive FPGA workloads. With a QSFP+ connector capable of four 10 GbE or 40 GbE connections, the module supports high-throughput data movement, essential for low-latency, data-intensive use cases. Power consumption peaks at around 70 W (typical case ~60 W); active cooling ensures efficient thermal control in dense server environments.
