The APC SRT48RMBP is a 48 V external battery module designed to extend the runtime of Smart-UPS SRT 1 kVA and 1.5 kVA rack-mount UPS systems. Housed in a compact 2U rack chassis, it features hot-swappable, sealed lead-acid batteries, enabling seamless runtime extension without downtime during replacement. Connect up to 10 battery packs in series to achieve tailored runtime profiles for critical applications.

Engineered to seamlessly integrate with Smart-UPS SRT units (models such as SRT1000RMXLA, SRT1500RMXLA, SRT1500RMXLA‑NC), the SRT48RMBP extends backup time by 3 to 4 times over internal battery backup. The rackmountable 2U chassis slides easily into 19″ racks and includes bracket kits and documentation for quick installation
