It is 609 meters in length and stores 100GB of native data and 200GB of compressed data. HP Ultrium 100/200GB data cartridges feature active internal head cleaning, self-diagnostic capacities, cartridge memory and are designed for long life and superior reliability. HP C7971A is the first version of Linear Tape Open Ultrium technology based data storage tape.
