The AddOn SFP-BX-U-AU-AO is an Aruba compatible 1000Base-BX SFP transceiver module designed to deliver reliable Gigabit Ethernet connectivity over single-mode fiber links up to 10 kilometers. Utilizing bi-directional signaling, it transmits at 1310nm and receives at 1490nm, allowing for full-duplex communication over a single strand of fiber. This compact SFP module is an ideal solution for enterprise, data center, and campus network applications that require long-distance fiber optic communication while minimizing fiber requirements and installation costs.

Equipped with an LC duplex connector, this transceiver adheres to Multi-Source Agreement (MSA) compliance for broad interoperability with Aruba and compatible networking equipment. Its hot-swappable form factor enables effortless installation and replacement without disrupting network operations. The unit includes Digital Optical Monitoring (DOM), enabling network administrators to access key operational parameters like temperature, voltage, and optical power for enhanced network management and fault diagnosis.
