The AddOn AA1403080U-BX-AO is a bi-directional (BiDi) XFP optical transceiver supporting the 10GBASE-BX-U standard. Operating at 10Gbps, it transmits at 1310nm and receives at 1490nm, delivering full-duplex connectivity over a single-strand of single-mode fiber (SMF) across link distances of up to 80 kilometers.

Designed for Avaya systems, this OEM-compatible module reduces infrastructure cost by enabling bi-directional use of a single fiber strand with LC simplex connectivity. It is hot-swappable for simplified installation and replacement, minimizing network downtime while ensuring seamless interoperability with Avaya/Nortel platforms.
