The GSM4212UX-100NAS NETGEAR AV Line M4250 series, a product of collaboration with AV professionals, is a meticulously designed range of switches tailored to support 1Gb audio and video over IP applications. With custom hardware and software, complemented by dedicated service and support, these switches stand out as a comprehensive solution.
Available in 8 to 16 port configurations, the M4250 series offers a spectrum of PoE+ and Ultra90 PoE++ options, accommodating AVoIP endpoints with power ratings ranging from 15.4W to 90W. Uplink choices include 1G for audio or standalone video installations, as well as 10G options for larger-scale video deployments. Additionally, the series features 12-port multi-gigabit Ethernet and 16-port 1G/10G fiber models, facilitating plug-and-play aggregation in a star topology.
Designed for seamless integration with traditional rack-mounted AV equipment, the M4250 switches boast a sleek black display panel with front and rear status indicators. Versatility is enhanced with the option for reversed mounting when front-facing ports are preferred. Further adaptability is provided by a second pair of rackmount ears, allowing recessed mounting by 2 inches for efficient cable management.
The switches feature software-controlled fan adjustments, enabling fanless operation under suitable conditions. Threaded holes on the bottom and front offer universal mounting options beyond the rack setup. The NETGEAR M4250 series AV software features pre-configuration for audio and video over IP, zero-configuration connectivity for encoders and decoders, and an AV web-based GUI for advanced configurations. Supporting various audio and video profiles, including Dante, Q-SYS, AES67, NVX, SVSI, NDI, and more, the switches streamline deployments with NETGEAR IGMP Plus™, ensuring multicast automation between M4250 switches and with M4300/M4500 switches for effortless connectivity.
